How do I sign up for AppAcademia?
Visit our homepage and click "Get Started Free." Choose your role (student, teacher, parent, or admin), fill in your details, and verify your email address. Students under 13 need a parent, guardian, or school administrator to create their account. No credit card is required for the free tier.
How does the AI tutor work?
Our AI tutor is powered by advanced language models (OpenAI and Claude) and is available 24/7. It adapts to your learning level, explains concepts in multiple ways, and supports English, French, Spanish, and German. The tutor can help with homework, explain difficult topics, generate practice questions, and provide step-by-step solutions. All interactions are age-appropriate and filtered for safety.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. For school-managed accounts, contact your school administrator for assistance.
What languages does AppAcademia support?
AppAcademia currently supports four languages: English, French, Spanish, and German. This includes the full user interface, AI tutor conversations, and notifications. You can switch languages at any time from your profile settings. We're actively working on adding more languages.
What devices and browsers are supported?
AppAcademia works on any modern web browser including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest two versions). Our mobile app is available for iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play. For the best experience, we recommend a stable internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024×768 on desktop.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription in your account and click "Cancel Subscription." Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You can resubscribe at any time. If you need help with billing, email us at hello@myappacademia.com.
How is my data protected?
We take data privacy seriously. AppAcademia is compliant with GDPR, FERPA, and COPPA. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Keycloak for secure authentication and role-based access control. Student data is never sold to third parties or used for advertising. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How can my school get started with AppAcademia?
Schools can onboard by contacting us at hello@myappacademia.com with the subject "School Onboarding." We'll help you set up your school account with custom branding, import teacher and student rosters, configure roles and permissions, and provide training for staff. We offer special pricing for educational institutions.
